About ImageScaling

A tool for one job — changing a picture’s pixel dimensions — done with care, and shown rather than claimed.

The mathematics of good image scaling has been settled for decades: filter in linear light, widen the filter when reducing, weight colour by transparency, pick a kernel that suits the picture. Most online resizers skip some of those steps, and none show you the consequences. ImageScaling does all of them, and puts rulers, readouts, a loupe, a split view and a side-by-side lab around the result so you can judge it yourself.

When classical methods are not enough, an AI super-resolution model runs on your own device. When the job is pixel art or a change of shape, there are modes built for those. Every size the interface prints is the size the file will have.
